kadet's compositions
stretch through crackling soundscapes and rhythmic drones into
pulsating eruptions.

"If the first wave of glitch was about reducing dance music down
to a few previously accidental elements, the second wave is taking
those same elements and rebuilding grooves with them, however
primitive and minimal. Kadet's SEISMIC demands that you listen
hard, but rewards your effort with tiny details like the creepy
voices buried in "Threshold." Some of the album's moments reach
near-total abstraction, then pull back toward more repetitive
structures, with backing pads and gutted, howling synths." Rob

"Listening to this new release from SF solo IDM/electronicist
Kadet is an almost multi-sensory experience. A plethora of
wonderfully itchy glitches, thick tenuous throbs and metallic
percussive gasps probe your ears. Some sounds actually made my
teeth buzz as if I'd chomped down on some aluminum foil - an
impressive feat unto itself. The latter tracks gradually sink into
a much more deeply fluid abyss - like the echo-y sensation of
slowly drifting to the bottom of a pool."
kadet has composed music for live performance, film, video,
gallery installation, performance and interactive media such as
internet animations and playstation games.
